North Francis Street to Close Monday, April 17 for Hwy 76 Construction in Branson

The City of Branson will close North Francis Street on Monday, April 17, 2017 as part of the 76 Revitalization Project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, continuing through Friday, April 21 for the construction of underground utilities, weather permitting.
Motorists needing to access Francis Street will be rerouted east to Rosalee Street, and only local traffic will be allowed on Francis from Gretna Road. The underground work will cross Highway 76 at Francis Street, resulting in this lane reduction on Highway 76 during daylight hours only, and both lanes will be open to traffic in the evenings.
Informational signs and flagmen will direct traffic safely through this one-lane construction zone.
As a reminder, please be aware of construction workers along Highway 76, and be mindful of laws pertaining to use of the center lane throughout the entire corridor. The City of Branson allows use of the center lane for making a left turn only, and motorists are allowed to use this lane no more than 500 feet before a left turn is made. Violators will be ticketed and fined if found driving in the center lane or exceeding the 500-foot left-turn allowance.
