Water Line Break at Highway 376 Near Steak ‘N Shake in Branson

Branson, MO – The City of Branson reports a break in a major water line that occurred over night near the entrance of Celebration City on Highway 376, directly across from Steak ‘N Shake. The line is a 12” main running along the south side of Hwy 376, approximately 50 feet off the road.

No damages to roads or property have been reported as the break is in a remote location. At this time, Steak ‘N Shake is the only customer without water, and employees are being notified about the issue and repair timeline.

City of Branson Utilities Director, Mike Ray, states that the west side water towers were under a high demand prior to the leak being isolated but are recovering quickly and there should be no water pressure issue for other customers in the affected area.

Estimated time required for repair is 4 to 6 hours and the public will be notified once completed.
