76 Revitalization Phase 1A Update, week ending 9/30/16

The City of Branson will not only be completing the waterline installation and underground utility work on the south side of Highway 76 between Ellen and Francis streets in two weeks, but also constructing the permanent above ground construction that includes curb, gutter and sidewalks in that area.

This Phase 1A plan originally called for completing the underground utilities in this area and installing temporary, asphalt sidewalks and curbs, and then going back later to remove the temporary and to construct permanent sidewalks, curbs and gutters. By doing it all simultaneously, the city saves time and money on the 76 Revitalization program.
