76 Revitalization Update: All lanes to reopen on W Hwy 76 for holiday traffic Wed. 11/23

To better accommodate Thanksgiving holiday travelers and the busiest shopping season of the year, the City of Branson will remove all construction barriers in the 3000-3100 blocks of W Hwy 76 on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Since September, barriers have been in place from Silver Spur Western Wear east to the 76 Music Road Mall while utility undergrounding construction took place as part of the 76 Revitalization Project in that area. While businesses have remained open, EB traffic on 76 has been closed, diverting traffic to the center lane.

According to city officials, the installation of new waterline and underground utility conduits have been completed in that area of 76.

On Monday, November 28, the City will begin trenching the north side of Hwy 76 to continue underground utility installation westward from Rosalee Street to the west end of Hall of Fame Hotel. WB lane of 76 traffic will be closed in this area, indicated by barriers directing traffic to the center lane.
