Branson Police Respond to Armed Robbery at 1300 block of West Highway 76, Suspects Apprehended, Weapons Recovered, No Injuries

Branson, MO (Thursday, December 15, 2016) – At approximately 7:30PM this evening, officers of the Branson Police Department were dispatched to a business in the 1300 block of West Highway 76 in response to a report of an armed robbery. Officers were informed that three armed subjects had stolen an undetermined amount of money and fled in an unknown direction.

While en route, an officer observed three subjects matching the descriptions provided by witnesses at the scene and called for police backup to conduct a felony vehicle stop of the suspect vehicle. Members of the Branson Police Department, including K-9 officer Tygo, assisted in the stop which resulted in recovery of the weapons along with a plastic bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash as described by witnesses. The three subjects were apprehended and are now in custody. No injuries were reported at the location of the crime nor at the scene of the arrest.

The Branson Police Department thanks the public for providing detailed descriptions of the three suspects who committed the crime along with their weapons. The investigation is ongoing and further information will be disclosed as details become available.
