    April 17, 2017 - April 20, 2017

Branson’s Annual Spring Cleanup week is just around the corner and residents are gearing up for spring cleaning throughout Branson neighborhoods. In its continued commitment to maintain the natural beauty of the Branson region, the City of Branson Public Works department will provide its semi-annual pickup service beginning Monday, April 17 thru Thursday, April 20, 2017. This service is provided as a courtesy to residents within Branson city limits, helping to dispose of large, unwanted items at no cost, including brush, limbs and other items not typically picked up by residential trash haulers like old appliances, furniture, and mattresses.

    April 19, 2017, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Join Missouri Governor Greitens and College of the Ozarks to honor Gold Star Families (those who have lost immediate family members killed in their service to the country), to preserve the memory of the fallen, and stand as a stark reminder that freedom is not free. “We view this as our duty to honor all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice,” said Bryan Cizek, director of patriotic activities. “Building this memorial is the College’s way of honoring families who sacrificed everything in the name of freedom.” The memorial on the College of the Ozarks campus is presented in cooperation with The Hershel Woody Williams Congressional Medal of Honor Education Foundation, Inc. This will be the first Gold Star Families Memorial in the state of Missouri.
