The role of the Human Resources Department is to establish and implement programs that encompass the full range of employee services. These services include employee development, policies, benefits, wellness, training, classification and compensation, and recruitment. The Human Resources Department is also responsible for the City’s Risk Management functions.

The City of Branson has implemented an Employee Tobacco Free Policy. Employees are not allowed to utilize tobacco products while on regular paid time, including paid break times. This policy also includes smokeless tobacco products.

Please note: Due to the February 29, 2012 tornado that damaged multiple commercial and residential properties in the City of Branson, the Planning & Development Department’s Building Division may possibly be looking for a temporary part-time Building Inspector in the near future. If you are interested in this possible opportunity, you must have 3-5 years of experience as a Building Inspector with current International Code Council certification in Residential and/or Commercial inspections. The 2009 ICC Codes, the 2008 NEC and 2003 ICC/ANSI A117.1 are the currently adopted Building Codes for the City of Branson with very few local amendments. A valid driver’s license is also required, and the individual must pass a criminal background check. If interested, please contact the Human Resources Department to place your name on a list to be contacted if/when this opportunity becomes available.
