The City of Branson is looking to fill two vacancies on the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) which promotes tourism to the area by collecting and administering a sales tax used for destination marketing efforts that attract visitors to the region. The deadline for applications is August 30, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.
Applications are available in the “Boards & Committees” section on the City’s website, BransonMo.Gov or at the City Clerk’s Office, 110 W. Maddux, Street, Branson, 417-337-8522. Parties interested in volunteering and becoming involved with the City are encouraged to apply.
While the TCED is not a City board, the City is looking for someone to represent the City of Branson on the TCED. The TCED is a special district established under Missouri State Law to promote tourism to the area. A seven-person, volunteer Board of Directors, appointed by elected officials from within the District, oversees the spending of TCED tax dollars for the purpose of promoting tourism to the area.
