Elected to the Board of Aldermen in April 2021, Clay Cooper is a Branson entertainer and theatre owner.
Alderman Cooper has been a native of the Branson community for over 35 years after he left his hometown of Wylie, Texas with hopes of performing with a kid’s band at the age of 16, known as The Texas Goldminors. Alderman Cooper and his wife began their own show in 2003 known today as Clay Cooper’s Country Express and opened their own theatre, Clay Cooper Theatre, in 2010.
Alderman Cooper provides philanthropy opportunities and helps with several local charities, community organizations and Branson Public Schools.
Alderman Cooper and his wife, Tina, have three incredible kids. His two boys perform in his show, are active in sports and attend Branson Schools. His daughter currently resides in Texas, working as a medical recruiting specialist.
